Person & Card Management
Create person records with custom fields (department, role, ID number, or any field you define). Assign cards, set validity periods, block or deactivate as needed. Assign access profiles per person. Every change is tracked in an audit log.
Card Design Editor
Visual template editor for front and back card layouts. Place your logo, colors, text fields, and photo zones. Define a template once per card type and reuse it across hundreds of cards. Switch between templates instantly.
Smart Card Encoding
Cards are encoded at print time with the data you configure. Employee records, access credentials, custom DESFire application schemas. Supports MIFARE DESFire EV2/EV3 (AES-128) and Ultralight EV1/C. No low-level NFC expertise required.
Bulk Printing & Batch Workflows
Filter by any field, preview the batch, and print hundreds of cards in one run. Useful for semester starts, annual re-issuance, or onboarding waves. Track progress in real time from the bulk print dashboard.
Self-Service Portal
End users submit their own details and photo through a configurable form. Photos are automatically cropped and background-removed. An admin reviews and approves each request before a card is issued.
Data Import & Export
Import person and card data from CSV files or SFTP feeds, on demand or on a schedule. Export cardholder data in JSON, CSV, or any custom format using configurable templates. Useful for feeding data to external systems or compliance reporting.
Audit Trail & Role-Based Access
Every action (create, update, block, decommission, import) is logged with the user, timestamp, and a structured diff of what changed. Staff get scoped access, superusers manage settings, imports, exports, and user accounts. Optional two-factor authentication and SSO/OIDC.

Lightweight Software That Connects Your Printer to the Platform
The print agent runs on a machine connected to your Magicard card printer. It receives print and encoding jobs from the platform (cloud or on-prem) and executes them automatically. No manual file transfers, no middleware to configure.
Automatic Job Pickup
The agent polls the platform for pending jobs and processes them in order. Single cards or full batches. No manual intervention once the job is submitted.
Print + Encode in One Pass
Each card is personalized (photo, name, fields), printed, and encoded with NFC data in a single pass through the printer. No separate encoding station needed.
Routing Keys
If you have multiple printers across departments or sites, each agent is assigned a routing key. Jobs are directed to the right printer automatically based on the template or department.

REST API
Full API access to persons, cards, access profiles, and print jobs. Push data in or pull it out from any system that can make HTTP requests.
CSV & File Import
Upload CSV files manually or pull them from an SFTP server. Map columns to person and card fields. Run on demand or on a schedule.
SFTP Scheduled Feeds
Point the platform at an SFTP source. It fetches, parses, and imports data automatically on a cron schedule. No manual uploads needed.
JSON & Custom Export
Export cardholder data in JSON, CSV, or any custom format using configurable templates. Schedule recurring exports or run them manually.
